    Sindh Government to implement major steps for the Development of Construction Industry.

    Likewise, Federal and other states of Pakistan, the Sindh government also announced to reduce taxes in the construction sector.

    Speaking to media in Karachi, Sindh Minister of information Nasir Hussain Shah said, Sindh government has taken essential steps to promote the construction industry.

    Decreasing the taxes in the construction sector will help in investment growth; it also facilitates the construction industry in Sindh, and the Sindh Cabinet has reduced the taxes in the construction sector, said Nasir Shah.

    Minister of information said, one window operation has to be started for small scale businesses. Police and other law enforcement agencies are doing a great job regarding this operation.

    Seeing the law and order situation, Nasir Shah said I would not say that crime is entirely over, but the crime rate has decreased. Anti-social or enemy of the state has tried to attack police and essential buildings, but they failed.

    Work on Project Development in Sindh Ended on Account of Solidified Funds of ADP

    In May 2020, sources in the development business and commonplace account division said that installment of over Rs8 billion to more than 800 contractual government workers was retained because of freezing of the funds of ADP. 

    They said that the contractual workers were given installment quarterly under the ADP. However, those in Karachi were paid in the first quarter of the current monetary year, while temporary workers taking a shot at the inspire and advancement plans of various standard divisions in the remainder of the region were given installments in the first and second quarters.

    The sources said that the suspension of work on the continuous inspire and advancement plan would prompt many difficulties for the contractual workers, their sub-temporary workers, and laborers. However, it will undoubtedly unfavorably influence the current metro and civil foundation over the area.

    KMC Owes about Rs2billion to Temporary Workers

    Mayor Wasim Akhtar said that the KMC contractual workers were not given installment as the current government had not so far discharged the ADP's subsequent quarterly assets to the city organization.

    Wasim said, "The contractual workers have halted chip away at continuous inspire conspires due to non-installment of their remaining payment, putting in question the city's delicate foundation."
