Few Interesting Questions raised on Bahria Town’s Main Gate Attack After 6th June?

Global pandemic Covid-19 is one thing that but Bahria Town Pandemic is our current concern. How does Bahria take all of this and what is the response from the management? Does the Sindh government fail to tackle the protest turned attack or there is lawlessness everywhere as long as you have some cards or slogans to play with?

Questions are many! However, we picked up a few questions that might answer your immediate concerns!

What about Bahria Town NawabShah?

The Protestants were furious about land that lies on the outskirts of Karachi. The Protestants were riled up to commence the Bahria Town Attack and damage millions worth of goods and property damage to the locals of Bahria.

However, the “Sindh Land-Grabbing” card being played here for Bahria Town Karachi wasn’t raised for Bahria Town NawabShah which lies at the heart of Sindh. This whole event was questionable if we were to look at the location at both societies. One lies near Motorway and the other is near Rohri Kanal Bridge.

Allotment of Land

The Land was allotted by the Government of Sindh. These facts are misrepresented through media and people who do not have a clue on how real estate works might understand this in their own perspective. Which is wrong!

All the allotted land was acquired through Sindh Government approval. There were many claims that Bahria Town has acquired more than allotted land moreover this was also put forward in the court.

Legalizing By Supreme Court

The Supreme court accepted a notion by Bahria Town to acquire 16,896 acres of land near Super Highway by paying over Rs460 Billion. The Supreme has found the MDA Malir Development authority to have illegally allotted land to Bahria Town Karachi. The Malir Development Authority claimed those lands from Sindh Government itself. Court did mark a notion that Bahria Town can not be a Real Estate Agency but only a developer.

Stance Of Bahria Town

Even before Bahria Town Attack. Bahria Town Officials including Malik Riaz are confident in their ownership and legal hold on lands allotted to them. The Bahria Town has faced several controversies yet none were able to dent the claims of Bahria Town. Bahria Town has won almost every legal case and even Supreme Court has accepted their claims on their Superhighway Lands.

An Action Awaits

The Bahria Town Management was not satisfied with the Bahria Town Main gate attack on June 6th situation handled by law enforcement agencies

Malik Raiz on the 6th June tweet made a statement on the carelessness and silence of the Government, Security forces, and Sindh Police.

The Cheif Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah Responded to this situation as anyone found being involved with Bahria Town property damage would be dealt with strict-handed.

The Bahria Town Management has also pressed charges against those involved in violence and property damage on 6th June 2021, at Gadap City Police Station, District Malir at 7 pm. This Fir was written under the authority of SHO Inspector Ashraf Jaan. The Report number is 22.
